built by a mother

Raising better human beings matters as much as raising good students.

A note for parents and Letter from Mentor, from inside I Am Not A Book

the letter inside every copy

"We live in a world where a child often prefers a screen to a book. Simple activities that spur the mind's imagination lie forgotten as children seek easy, sometimes mindless entertainment.

This book, designed carefully by a mother, and a professional, is packed full of activities that grow a child's imagination by taking them on a journey of exploring their inner selves.

I, as a writer and a mother, understand the crucial importance of not only keeping your child engaged, but fruitfully so. Such activities are the perfect way to keep your child engaged, learning, and growing.

I hope you and your child have fun working through this book."

who's behind it

Lovely Doshi, founder

Lovely Doshi — founder, I Am Miracle

Lovely Doshi is a mother, dreamer, and changemaker who believes that education should be about more than exams and textbooks — it should help children find their inner compass.

Her first creation, I Am Not a Book (ages 6–10), received immense love from parents and children across communities. Many mothers shared how it became their child's favourite nightly ritual, sparking meaningful conversations and growing self-confidence. Encouraged by that response, she began building a series of journals to support children through every stage of growing up.

With Dear Me: A Journey Within, she extends that journey to pre-teens and teens — a safe, friendly space to reflect, dream, and express themselves freely.

Professionally, she leads an international marketing and communications company working with universities and colleges across the world — bringing the same rigour to I Am Miracle that she applies to education institutions.

When she's not writing or designing, she spends her days with her children, exploring music, art, and the small joys of life. She believes every child's voice deserves to be heard — gently, clearly, and proudly.

why it actually works

Not a book you read to a child. A set of things she does herself.

I am not a book — journal opening spread with Mirako

Kids don't absorb lectures about values — they respond to something to do. Every activity inside has been practiced with children before ever being printed. Mirako the Miracle, the character who guides them through the journal, turns each page into an invitation, not an assignment.

a letter to every parent

"Mothers wrote to me about how it opened up conversations they never thought they'd have with their kids. That response inspired me to create this series for older children too."

what's next

Journals today. A full life skills centre for children, tomorrow.

I Am Miracle started at a single fair with no ads and no online store — just journals that got families talking. That's still the mission: giving every child the one shelf that isn't about grades.
